Gyandeep Portal Admission 2025-26 Online Apply: The process of online enrollment of the said children through Gyandeep portal in the academic session 2025-26 will be done in the light of the following time table. The said portal has been decided to go live on 26 December 2024.
Guidelines for the enrollment of 25% of children from disadvantaged and underprivileged groups in private schools, as sanctioned under Section 12 (1) (c) of the Right to Education Act, 2009, for the academic year 2025-26 have been established. The enrollment process will be conducted via an online portal, in accordance with the Bihar State Free and Compulsory Education Rules, 2011, as set forth by the Education Department of the Government of Bihar. The specific criteria for nominations are outlined in the following guidelines.

Documents Required for Bihar RTE Admission 2025-26
The following documents are necessary for the admission process: a birth certificate, hospital or nurse records, Anganwadi records, or a declaration from the child or guardian regarding the child’s age; a caste certificate; an income certificate; and a domicile certificate or any of the following: Aadhar card, Voter ID card, driving license, rent agreement, or electricity bill.
If a domicile certificate is unavailable, parents or guardians must upload a residence certificate for their child on the portal through the school within three months of admission. Additionally, the Aadhar card of the parents or guardians is required, while the child’s Aadhar card must be submitted within three months of admission, with the headmaster responsible for uploading it to the Gyandeep portal. A mobile number for the parent or guardian and a recent color passport-sized photograph of the child (50 kb size) are also required.
Application Process of Bihar RTE Admission 2025-26
The initial registration process for children will take place on the Gyandeep Portal, where parents or children can register using their mobile numbers. During the application process, it is essential to verify the Aadhaar card of the parents or guardians, while the verification of the child’s Aadhaar card is optional.
Although the child’s Aadhaar card is not required at the time of application, it must be submitted to the school within three months of admission. The Head Master will be responsible for uploading the child’s Aadhaar card to the portal. Following registration, a USER ID will be sent to the registered mobile number via SMS, allowing parents or guardians to log in and complete the enrollment form.
