West Bengal RTE Admission 2025-26 Application Procedure
Admission forms will be provided free of charge at all educational institutions, as well as on the official Banglar Shiksha website (banglarshiksha.gov.in). This form is relevant to all types of schools referenced in the previous paragraph. Applicants must submit a self-attested copy of their birth certificate along with the application form at the school.
If the birth certificate is unavailable at the time of submission, a declaration regarding the child’s age from a parent or guardian will be accepted. The birth certificate must be presented within six months, in accordance with the RTE Rules 2012. Furthermore, a self-attested copy of the reservation certificate from the appropriate authority must be included with the application form to avail of reservation benefits. It is essential that all sections of the application form are filled out with precise information.
West Bengal RTE Admission 2025-26 Selection Process
The selection procedure will utilize the ‘Draw of Lots’ method. The drawing event is scheduled to occur within the dates outlined in the table above. Following the selection of candidates, they are required to submit their original birth certificates along with any pertinent documents requested by the school during the admission process. In the event that a birth certificate is not available at the time of admission, a grace period of six months will be provided in accordance with the stipulations of the Right to Education Act. If any candidates selected are subsequently rejected by the school management after being listed on the admission panel, this will be communicated to the district authorities.
